Directions:
West Tyson Trailhead:  From St. Louis, take I-44 west to the Lewis Road Exit and turn
right.  At the stop sign, turn left onto the outer road, go about 100 yards to the entrance,
then turn right, going into the park.
To Lone Elk Trailhead:  They have made getting to this trailhead so difficult that I would
not suggest going to it unless you know the area well.

Trail Notes:
All the trails in the park are now open to equestrians, not just Chubb Trail.
There is a set of step-like rock ledges to negotiate that can get slick.  Castlewood
loop is a little confusing.  You will ride under, and along side a set of active railroad
tracks for a ways, so you might encounter a train.  This trail is loved by the mountain
bike riders so expect to run into a lot of them.

Cart/Wagon Driving:
Not allowed & not feasible.  Trail is all single track and very rough.  No roads available.

Water Available:
Drinking water:  None available.
Water for horses:  Creeks and the Meramec River.

Other Facilities:
