From St. Louis, take Hwy 70 about 65 miles to the Hwy B exit, marked Truxton.  Follow
Hwy B south, which is very curvy,  for 1 mile to the intersection of B and EE just outside of
Pendleton.  Turn right and follow B for another 5.6 miles to the second conservation area
parking lot.  The first lot has a large "Little Lost Creek" sign but the lot is too small for
trailers.  The second lot is just after a sharp curve to the left and right before a sharp curve to
the right.  At the second lot there is a another Conservation Area sign.  Turn left and follow
short drive to lot.  This lot is best for trailers.

Trail Notes:
The trails are well marked at the intersections and have wide trail corridors.  A few creeks
and downfall to negotiate, and some long, steep hills both on the connector trail from the
parking lot and on the loop.  Most of the trail is in the open and follows old logging roads.
There is some private property to avoid.  Shortly before the private property, the trail turns
to the east and goes to single-track for a short while until it meets up with another logging
road.  The private property is very clearly marked with markers.  This can be a hot ride in
the summer since much of the trail is in the sun.  The trail tread has been rebuilt in areas since
it doesn’t have a hard rock-type foundation everywhere.  Some areas of the trail are very
rocky, however.  Please do not ride this trail when it is really wet.  There is also a nice scenic
overlook as you ride down the connector trail from the parking lot to the loop.
