Directions:
From St. Louis, take I-44 west to the 2nd St. Clair exit.  Turn left, go to the stop
sign.  Turn left onto Commercial and then an immediate right at the stop light onto
Hwy 30.  Continue east 1.3 miles to Hwy K, turn right.  Go about 5 miles to Old
Hwy K, the first road on the left after the Meramec River Bridge.  Follow Old
Hwy K 0.8 miles to Little Indian Creek Road, turn right.  Go 3.5 miles to the trail
head parking lot on the left.
*Caution.  There is a low water bridge just before the lot that can flood making it
impassible, as well as several parts of the roads leading into the area that can flood
during the rainy season.

Miles of Trails:
12 mile double loop if you ride some of the gravel road.

Ample.

Closed Oct 1 - Dec. 31 & during Spring firearms turkey season.
         
Fees:
No day use fees.

Equine Camping:
Not allowed
      
Trail Notes:
This trail has recently been reworked making it a longer, better marked and better
maintained trail than it had been in the past.  There is some downfall and creeks to
negotiate, but no other real hazards.  You might want to call ahead before coming
to this trail during the wet weather season because sometimes the roads and low
water bridge leading to the trail and trailhead are flooded.

Unknown at this time.  Researching now.

Drinking water:  None available.
Water for horses:  Creeks.

Hitching rail and outhouses down the road from the equestrian trailhead.  
2 Hitching rails by Baker cemetery.

Hiking, primitive non-equestrian camping, and hunting.
