Trail Notes:
This trail is a personal favorite of mine and I highly recommend it.  Most of the trails
are quite rocky, so you'll want your horse to be shod. Contrary to the fact that this trail is
highly used, it never seems to feel crowded.  Even though this is in St. Louis County, I've
seen more deer here than anywhere else I've ridden.
Eagle Valley Trail:  4.2 mile loop.  This is the cross country jump trail.  There is plenty of
room to go around the jumps if you prefer.  This trail is hilly, but not drastic, with a creek and
blacktop road to cross.
Buelah Trail:  2.6 mile loop.  This trail is highly difficult with several long rocky steep sections
to negotiate.  These are the kinds of hills you will probably have to stop and rest your horse
on afterward.
Overlook Trail:  0.8 mile point to point from Eagle Valley Trail to Buelah Trail.  Named for the
overlook along this path, this area would be especially neat to ride if the fall colors are good.
Much of this trail is a gradual ascent up to the Buelah Trial.

Cart/Wagon Driving:
Unknown at this time.  Researching now.

Water Available:
Creeks and water tanks for the horses to drink from.  Drinking water and showers
available at the Mustang Shelter.

Other Facilities:
Most of the campsites include a table, fire ring, trash can, and room for two horses.
The trailhead has a shelter, bar-b-que pit, picnic tables, trash cans, tie stalls under a
roof for your horses, a round pen, water troughs, and flush toilets.  The Mustang
Shelter is reservable, so if you might not be able to use it if it is reserved and you are
not part of that group.

Hiking, mountain biking, camping, and a learning center.
