Trail Notes:
The trail is marked with white diamonds.  The switchbacks above Brazil Creek
Campground are made of log retaining walls held in place by spikes sticking up
about 6" on the downhill side of the trail.  There are some shale spots on the west
side of the trail near the campground that can be tricky for inexperienced horses.
Most of the trail is wooded, but some sections have been logged or burned & can
get very overgrown in the summer.  This is a favorite mountain biking trail & they
love to ride it fast.  Logging roads can shorten your ride if needed.  Hazards also
include ATV's on the forest roads and bears.

Cart/Wagon Driving:
Yes, the road that goes through the middle of the trail would work great for this and is a few
miles long.  There are also side Forest Roads, many of which might be in good enough shape
to drive on, but hazards could include steep hills, ATV's, motorcycles, mountain bike riders,
ruts, and washed out areas.

Water Available:
Drinking water:  No official drinking water, but there is an artesian well at one of
      the trail camps.
Water for horses:  Creeks and ponds along the trail, but the east side of the trail
      is pretty dry.
