Trail Notes:
A "rails to trails" trail, so the trail corridor is level, and wide with no forest type obstacles to
have to negotiate.  Your horse does need to be able to handle traffic, crossing blacktop
roads, going over bridges, handle bicycles, dogs, kids and strollers.   There is a concrete
bridge right at the beginning that you have to go over that, not only has no sides to it, but has
a steep concrete "slide" off of each side. (See pictures above)   Even though the whole 16
miles are officially open, it can be rough in spots as work still needs to be done on it.  The
trail the trail goes west and ends at the Missouri/Kansas state line.
