Directions:  
From Joplin, take Hwy 71 Alternate south for aprox 36.5 miles to Hwy K.  
Turn east on Hwy K and go 2.9 miles to the first trailhead parking lot, 0.7
miles further to the second trailhead lot, and 0.9 more miles to the third
trailhead lot.

Trailer Parking:
First two trailhead lots are ample, the third trailhead lot is moderate.

Miles of Trails:
18 mile network.

Season:
Year-round.
*Caution.  Open to hunters during hunting seasons.

Fees:
No day use or camping fees.

Equestrian Camping:
Yes, you can ride in and camp at one of the designated camping areas,
although you cannot camp at your trailer in those camping areas.  They
are ride into only.

Trail Notes:
Riding is allowed on designated equestrian trails or on two track gravel
roads.  This trail system has some steep hills, downfall, and creeks to
negotiate.  Part of the trail is overgrown and lost.  None of the trails in
the forest are marked, so take a map and compass so you can find
your way around

Drinking Water:  Not available
Water for horses:  Creeks and streams.

No facilities at all.
