Directions:  
From Joplin, take Hwy 71 Alternate south for aprox 20 miles to Hwy HH.
Turn east and follow Hwy HH for 2.1 miles to Owl Road.  Turn right and
there are two good equestrian trailheads within 1.8 miles.  The best trailhead
being 0.8 of a mile from the turn.

11 miles in multiple loops.

Year-round.
*Caution.  Open to hunters during hunting seasons.

Fees:
No day use fees.

Equestrian Camping:
Primitive dispersed camping is allowed.

Trail Notes:
Terrain isn't very difficult with most of it being gently rolling.  This area
used to be an army fort so there are old foundations and small concrete
bridges to cross throughout the area.  An archery range is located on the
east side of the trail.

Cart/Wagon Driving:
Unknown at this time.  Researching now.

Drinking Water:  Not available
Water for horses:  Creeks and ponds along the trail.

Other Facilities:
The Archery Range Area has picnic tables, trash cans and an outhouse.
No other facilities anywhere else.

Hiking, orienteering, bicycling, camping, hunting, and archery.
