Directions:  
East Hwy CC Trailhead:  From West Plains, take Hwy CC west for 14.4 miles to the
trailhead lot on the left.
West Hwy CC Trailhead:  From West Plains, take Hwy CC west for 17.7 miles to the
second trailhead on the left.  The North Fork River is between the two trailheads.

Campground Trailhead:  From West Plains, take Hwy CC west 10 miles to Hwy
AD, turn south.  Go 3.2 miles to Hwy KK, turn west.  Drive 2.7 miles to the trailhead
camping.  This road contains a small steep hill to negotiate.

Trailer Parking:
West Hwy CC trailhead: Very Limited
East Hwy CC trailhead: Limited.  Could park a couple trailers in there.
Campground trailhead: Ample

13 mile double loop.

Season:
Year-round.
*Caution.  Open to hunters during hunting seasons.

Fees:
No day use or camping fees.

Equestrian Camping:
Yes, camping allowed at the trailhead off of Hwy KK and primitive dispersed camping.

Trail Notes:
This trail is moderately difficult to strenuous, with several very steep hills, water crossings
and forest downfall to negotiate.  The trail is in good shape,
and you can see where work has
been done on it.  It's
marked with white diamonds, but can get a little confusing here and
there because of trails going off of the main trail.
 This is a wilderness area, so you shouldn't
see any bike riders here.  Please use the sign-in boxes provided.

Cart/Wagon Driving:
Not allowed.  This is a wilderness area so mechanized equipment is not allowed on the trail.

Water Available:
Drinking Water:  Not available
Water for horses:  Springs, creeks and ponds along the trail.

Other Facilities:
Hwy KK trailhead/camping area has 4 hitching rails.  No other facilities.

Other Activities:
Hiking, camping, fishing and hunting.

Other Services:
Car Care, groceries & restaurants:  West Plains, about 15 miles east.
