Directions:
From Poplar Bluff, take Hwy 67 north about 14 miles to Hwy 172, turn east. Follow Hwy
172 for 4.3 miles to Hwy W, turn south. Drive 1.7 miles on Hwy W to County Road 506,
turn left. Follow road to parking area, about 0.4 of a mile. The second trailhead lot can be
found by going south on Hwy W for 1.8 miles further past County Road 506 to Hwy KK,
turn east on Hwy KK and follow 0.8 of a mile to the trailhead parking lot on the side of the
road.

This trail is well marked and easy to follow. There are steep hills and rocky terrain to
negotiate, as well as some creeks and pavement to cross. This trail connects to the trail
system at Lake Wappapello State Park and also to the Wappapello Lake Section of the
Ozark Trail.
