Directions:  
From Farmington, take Hwy 67 south for about 18 miles to Hwy E.  Turn west
on Hwy E and follow to County Road 124.  Turn left on C.R. 124 and drive 2.5
miles to Country Road 131, which is a 4 way intersection.  Turn left, drive 1.9
miles, bearing left at the Y, then drive 0.1 of a mile more to the trailhead parking.

5 mile loop.

Season:
Year-round.
*Caution:  Open to hunters during hunting seasons.

Fees:
No camping or day use fees.  Donations are alway welcome.

Equestrian Camping:
Yes, primitive dispersed camping along the trail.

Trail Notes:  
This trail connects to the Marble Creek Section of the Ozark Trail, and is
9 miles one way from the loop to the Marble Creek trailhead.  The trail is
steep and rocky in a few sections, especially the stretch that passes and
climbs above the shut-ins.  The view at the overlook is great, but a long fall.
The shut-ins are located on the south loop.  Other hazards to watch out for
include ticks, yellow jackets, and venomous snakes.

Cart/Wagon Driving:
Unknown at this time.  Researching now.

Water Available:
Drinking water:  None available at the trailhead, but it is available at the Marble
             Creek Recreation Area, but horses aren't allowed there.
Water for horses:  The lake and creeks.

Other Facilities:
Picnic tables, trash cans, and toilet facilities are available.

Other Activities:
Hiking, camping, hunting, fishing and boating.
