Directions:  
From Cape Girardeau, take Hwy 72 northwest to Hwy 34.  Turn west on Hwy
34 and travel about 34 miles to Hwy Y.  Turn south on Hwy Y and follow 5
miles to County Road 708.  Turn east for 0.4 of a mile to the equestrian trailhead
parking lot and campground on the right.

19.5 mile loop.

Year-round.
*Caution:  Open to hunters during hunting seasons.

No day use or camping fees.

Equestrian Camping:
Yes, designated campground with 8 primitive campsites.

Trail Notes:
This multi-use trail is moderately difficult with some rocky areas, steep hills, bluffs,
creeks, and deadfall to negotiate.  It's a beautiful area to ride in.  Horses are not
allowed in Blue Pond Nature Area, but you can tie up your horse and walk in to
see the shut-in area.

Cart/Wagon Driving:
Unknown at this time.  Researching now.

Water Available:
Drinking Water:  None available.
Water for horses:  Creeks and ponds along the trail, but none in the campground.

Other Facilities:
Hitching rails and parking pads, but no other facilities.  

Other Activities:
Hiking, hunting, camping, and mountain biking.
