Directions:
From Salem, take Hwy 19 north 12 miles to the Conservation Area on the right. There are
signs to follow.

Trailer Parking:
Multiple limited spots to pull off to park.

Trail Notes:
Since this is a road riding area, there are no forest trail obstacles to worry about, but there
are a lot of steep roads to ride. Hazards to be aware of would include traffic, bike riders, a
shooting range in the area, and hunters during hunting seasons. A great place to go during
wet weather.
Cart/Wagon Driving:
A good place for cart and wagon driving due to the fact that it is all gravel road.
Water Available:
Drinking Water: Available, but you may want to bring your own because it smells like sulfur.
Water for horses: The lake.
Laundry & Shower Facilities: Available mid April thru mid Oct.

Hiking, camping, target practice, hunting, bike riding, picnicking, wildlife viewing and
photography .
