Directions:
From Potosi, take Hwy 8 for 31.7 miles to Hwy E, turn north.  Follow
Hwy E for 5.7 miles into the area.  There is a pretty steep hill to climb
this way and if it's a hot summer weekend, you'll encounter a LOT of
people at Huzzah Creek as you go into the area.  It's crowded there
and they'll just about run you over.
From Leasburg, take Hwy H for 7.6 miles to the edge of the Conservation
Area on Cave Road.  You'll pass by Onondaga Cave State Park this way
so you'll still have to watch out for vacationers, but it's not as bad this way.

GPS Co-ordinates:
Huzzah State Wildlife Area:  38.03505, -91.19403

Trailer Parking:
Moderate.  There are no actual parking lots.  You can park anywhere
along the side of the road as long as you're not blocking any other road.
The best places we found to park were along road 22, just after you turn
onto it from Scotia Ranch Road.  Do not take your trailer all the way down
road 21, you won't be able to turn around.

15 miles total.

Trail Notes:
This is all road riding.  The main hazard you would have is to watch for
vehicles in the summer.  This is a very crowded place in the heat of the
summer.  They'll run you over.  The riding here in summer would be
very hot because most of it is in the sun.  There are some long steep hills.
Cave Road is hilly and paved with chip-n-seal asphalt, so it could be
slippery.  DO NOT ride on the Ozark Trail in this area, it is NOT open
to horses here.  Horses are also prohibited in the camping and picnic areas.

Cart/Wagon Driving:
Allowed on all roads open to vehicular use.

Water Available:
Drinking Water:  None available.
Water for horses:  Creeks, streams, & numerous wildlife ponds.

Other Facilities:
No facilities available.

Other Activities:
Hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, floating, nature study, picnicking,
photography, & target shooting.
