Directions:  
From Hannibal, take Hwy 61 north for 53 miles to Hwy 136, turn west.
Drive 9.2 miles to Hwy 81 in Kahoka, turn north.  From the Nursing Home
in Kahoka, drive 2.8 miles to a gravel road on the left.  There is no road
sign, but there is a very small shooting range sign.  You will also see a silver
pyramid shaped barn on the left a little before the turn.  After turning onto
the gravel road, drive 2.9 miles to a road that branches back to the right.
Follow road for 0.3 of a mile to the trailhead on the left.

Trailer Parking:
Limited.  This lot, and another one just off of Hwy 136, are the two best
lots to access the gravel roads in the area.  The other lot is shown on the
map.

Miles of Roads:
About 1 mile of MDC roads plus 8 miles, more or less,
of surrounding gravel roads.

Season:
Year-round.
*Caution.  Open to hunters during hunting seasons.

Fees:
No day use fees.

Equestrian Camping:
Not allowed.

Trail Notes:
This is all gravel road riding, so not many hazards other than some traffic
to deal with.  You can ride anywhere in the actual conservation area itself
if you have a special use permit.  There are no designated trails though, so
if you do this, you might want to bring a map and compass if you're not
used to the area.

Cart/Wagon Driving:
Allowed on all roads open to vehicular use.

Water for horses:  None available.
