Directions:  
From Eminence, take Hwy 106 east for 22.8 miles to the area entrance on the right.
There is a sign.  There are a few other roads that lead into the area, but this one is
the most obvious and easy to see, plus it takes you in on forest road 1.

Trailer Parking:
No actual lots, you just pull off onto the side of a road.  Just make sure you do not
block that road or any other road or gate.

Miles of Roads:
76 miles of MDC public roads and 9 miles of MDC service roads.

Season:
Year-round.
*Caution.  Open to hunters during hunting seasons.

Fees:
No day use or camping fees

Equestrian Camping:
Not allowed here, but there are some horse camps in Eminence.  See the
Ozark National Scenic Waterways trail.

Trail Notes:
This is all gravel road riding, so there are very little hazards to worry about.  
Traffic, which there would be very little of, is about the only hazard.  There
are also archery and shooting ranges within the area.  This would be a good
alternative place to ride during yellow jacket season.  Do not ride past any
closed gates.  You can dismount, tie your horse and walk in, but no cars or
horses are allowed past closed gates.

Cart/Wagon Driving:
Allowed on all roads open to vehicular use.

Water Available:
Drinking Water:  None available.
Water for horses:  Wildlife ponds are scattered throughout the area.

Other Facilities:
No trailhead facilities.

Other Activities:
Hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, nature study, picnicking, mountain bike riding,
archery range, and target shooting.

Other Services:
Car Care, groceries, & a restaurant:  Eminence, 23 miles west.
