Our Horses
Since Majic could not be ridden by anyone but me, and we know that at times that can be a
problem, we try and make sure our other horses can be ridden by anyone.  Here are some
pictures of Casper with my nieces and nephew.

My other niece, Cheyenne, taking her first
ride, being led by my nephew Sean.  Then
later taking her first solo ride.
Casper being very patient,
as always, with the newbies.

trying to steal 40 winks.
My nephew Sean, who's an old hand
now, riding Casper.
Merlin
We got Merlin about 2 years ago.  He's a ridable Haflinger Gelding.  We bought him for me to
replace Majic, as Majic
was getting older, and although I don't intend to retire him totally, his
riding days are much reduced now.  W
hen we first got Merlin I had hurt my back, which
limit
ed my riding time.  Even though I didn't ride him a lot at first, I've been getting much
more time in on him and as you can
see by the picture of our son-in-law and granddaughter
on him, he's a good, calm, kind horse.
Merlin, our stout amd handsome,
if dirty and fuzzy, newcomer.

Our son-in-law Donald and our Grandbaby
Samantha riding him with just a leadrope
wrapped around his head.
Cleaned and slicked up,
ready to go for a ride.
Caper's Big John
"BJ"
I did not originally plan to own Big John, but everytime I went
to visit him to take pictures for the Loeb-A-Rosa Ranch
website, I fell in love with him more.  We seemed to click so
well together.  Next thing I know, John gave me the chance to
buy him by letting me pay payments on him, and now he's my
second horse.  Wasn't looking for a big or fast horse, but well,
sometimes things happen.  LOL
