Directions:
From Farmington take Hwy 67 south for about 18 miles to Hwy E. Turn west on
Hwy E and follow to County Road 124. Turn left on C.R. 124 and drive 2.5 miles
to C.R. 131, which is a 4 way intersection. Turn left and drive 1.9 miles, bearing
left at the Y, then drive 0.1 of a mile to the trailhead.

Yes, primitive dispersed camping allowed.
Trail Notes:
Trail corridor is not easy to follow right now due to logging being done in the area.
In some sections the trail is all but lost and signage is pretty much gone. There are
several steep, rocky hills where copperhead and rattlesnakes could be found.
Creeks to cross. There is also a dangerous tall drop-off over the Shut-ins area.
Cart/Wagon Driving:
Not feasible. Trail is too narrow and rugged for cart or wagon driving.
Water Available:
Drinking Water: None available.
Water for horses: Creeks and streams.
Other Facilities:
Out house, picnic tables and trash cans.
Other Activities:
Hiking, camping, backpacking, mountain biking and hunting.
