Equestrian Camping:
Yes, at both Berryman and Hazel Creek Campground and primitive dispersed camping.

Trail Notes:
The Courtois Section starts in the Huzzah Conservation Area, where equestrian use is not
permitted.  The trail then goes in the Mark Twain National Forest , and the remainder of the
trail is open to equestrian use.  There is a 3.5 mile gap where the trail is currently routed
along gravel roads, but a new trail is presently being constructed and may be completed as
early as the end of 2009.  The trail runs concurrent with most of the western half of
Berryman, so watch for the trail signs and markers indicating where the Ozark Trail turns off
the Berryman Trail.  To access the Ozark Trail from the Berryman Campground, ride the
Berryman trail counter-clockwise.  At the Ozark Trail marker/sign, either turn left to follow
the Ozark South to Trace Creek or continue forward along the Berryman Trail until you get
to Harmon Spring Camp and follow the Ozark Trail marker/sign to the left towards Huzzah
Conservation Area.  Trail has steep, rocky sections and water crossings.  Water should not
be crossed during high water.  The southern end is more difficult than the northern end.  This
section is well traveled, and there is lots of bicycle use on the portion of the trail that is
concurrent with Berryman.  There are also numerous forest roads intersecting the trail, and
ATV use on them is common.

Cart/Wagon Driving:
Not feasible.  Trail is too narrow and rugged for cart or wagon driving.  See Berryman Trail
for more information on cart/wagon driving possibilites.
