Directions:  
From Kirksville, take Hwy 63 north for about 24 miles to Hwy 136, turn east.  Follow Hwy
136 for about 21 miles to Lake Showme Drive, turn south.  Lake Showme Drive goes all the
way around the lake and will lead you to a few different trailheads and campgrounds.

Year-round.
*Caution - Open to hunters during hunting seasons.

No day use fees.
Basic Campsite:  Free
Electric Campsite:  $10.00 per night.

Equestrian Camping:
Yes.  Primitive camping by the old barn at the north end of the dam as well as 6 electric sites
at the other campground.  You can camp at any of the campgrounds that anyone else is at.

Trail Notes:
This trail goes around the lake shore.  It's an easy trail with very few hazards to negotiate.  It
gets a little more hilly in the forest, but still not much to worry about.

Cart/Wagon Driving:
Unknown at this time.  Researching now.

Water Available:
Drinking Water:  None available.
Water for horses:  Creeks and the lake.

Other Facilities:
Shelter, outhouses, fire rings, picnic tables, and bar-b-que pits.
