Directions:
From St. Louis, take I-70 west to Hwy 47, turn north. Follow Hwy 47 to Hwy 147, turn
left. This is the entrance to the park. Follow the road and signs which will lead you to the
equestrian campground and trailhead parking area.

14 miles of multiple loops.

No hunting allowed here except special managed hunts.

Equestrian Camping:
Yes, the campground has 5 primitive sites & 8 electric sites.
Trail Notes:
This trail is not too difficult & goes through some pretty areas. Gently rolling hills, water
crossings, & downfall to negotiate. A lot of great work has been done at this trail, making it
in great shape. This is a trail that doesn't have the bedrock foundation like many of the trails
in the southern part of the state, so there are still areas that can get boggy during the rainy
season. Please do not ride here when it's wet.
Cart/Wagon Driving:
Not allowed. This park has a wild area in it, so mechanized equipment is not allowed on the
trail.

Drinking Water: Available at the campground.
Water for horses: At the campground and wet weather creeks along the trail.

Toilet facilities, picnic tables, fire-rings, lantern hooks & hitch rails.
