The Missouri Trailblazers Club is an informal club who's main purpose is to help other trail
riders in the state by providing up to date information, pictures, and if possible, GPS
readings of trails that you ride.
Due to financial and time restraints, I can no longer keep up with this endeavor quite the
way I had wanted to. I do still get to ride some trails in the state, largely thanks to Lalita,
but I don't know when, or how often, I'll have the opportunity to get to ride the trails in the
other parts of the state, let alone visit each trail, and new trails every two years for updates.
So I'm putting together this Club in hopes of gathering a small group of riders in the state
who are interested in making a difference with their love of trail riding.
Membership is free!
Membership benefits include:
*One free updated Missouri Trailblazing book if you don't already have one.
*One free trail riding journal.
*20% off price of a show journal if you buy it from me. Good if you show in fun shows
and trail ride. Also makes a great gift, especially for 4-Her's.
*20% off the price of other trail riding journals or Missouri Trailblazing book if you want to
buy as gifts for family or friends or resell yourself. Must be bought directly from me.
*Full Credit listed to you on the website and book for the information and pictures you
provide.
*Other benefits listed as thought of.
Membership responsibilities include:
*Filling out paperwork for information on each different trail you ride. You can e-mail or
snail mail the info to me.
*Taking pictures of trailheads and trails as you visit or ride them, then e-mail or snail mail a
copy of each to me to be added to the website.
*Being a good trail riding ambassador and steward while out trail riding.
*Active participation for at least one year from joining by supplying information & pictures
on at least 4 different trails per year. Any more than that greatly appreciated, but
not mandatory. After the first year, if you continue to be in the club, you can
choose to send in info and pictures on new trails, or "adopt" favorite trails in the
area that you ride the most and keep sending me updated info and more pictures,
then send information on one new trail per year.
*Area trail news that you find out about. Can include new trails, trail closures, public
meetings, etc., etc.
*Monthly internet chat meetings to discuss club business and ideas.
Membership Events will include:
*One yearly club ride where everyone can get together, meet each other, ride together, and
enjoy a good meal. Bring your own lunch, then we will provide meat, and everyone
else can bring a covered dish for dinner. We will try to chose a place where
camping is allowed, so camping would be optional.
*End of the year appreciation party with good food, door prizes, and maybe a clinic or
seminar or something.
*Other events added as thought of or suggested.
