Directions:
From Kansas City, take I-35 north to Hwy 92 west. Drive 5.2 miles to Hwy E, turn north.
Go 3.4 miles on Hwy E to the park entrance and turn left toward the camping area. Go 0.2
miles to the guard house. The camping area, also for day use parking, is past the guard
house in campsites 1-90.

Trail Notes:
This trail system has had a lot of work done to it in the last several years. The trail is well
marked with posts with horseshoes on top and keyed to the map. The trail has three
elements: A shoreline trail which is marked in orange, a boundary trail, which is marked with
white, and a combined trail which is marked with both orange and white. The trail is hilly
and has several stream and gully crossings, but it is a well maintained trail.
