Directions:  
From Kansas City, take Hwy 150 east to Pryor Road, turn north.  Follow Pryor Road
2.4 miles to Scherer Road, turn west.  Continue on Scherer Road 1.4 miles to Sampson
Road, turn south.  Drive 0.5 miles on Sampson Road, parking lot is on the right.

use any Jackson County Parks equestrian trail.

Yes, primitive camping in the field.

This trail is an easy trail with no apparent hazards other than road crossings and a model
airplane flying field near the trailhead.

Unknown at this time.  Researching now.

Water for horses:  Wet weather creeks.

The horse park has a lot of things going on with it all the time.  Hiking camping, picnicking,
swimming, boating, fishing, model airplane flying and much more.
